Who we are

What the app is for

Ghar Sorted helps a home with a cook share the day’s kitchen work: what to cook, grocery names, leftovers, check-in and check-out, leave, and simple dish steps.

Who uses it

One adult pays for the home and can confirm a check-in when location is weak. Family members can set the menu, the grocery list, and leftovers, and can invite the cook. A child can be added only by the paying adult, and only with the child’s own phone. The cook does not pay, and can work in more than one home.

What we keep

Names, the phone numbers used to sign in, the home’s menu, grocery names, leftovers, dish steps, check-in records, and leave. We use these only to run the app for that home.

Location

When the cook checks in or out, the app checks whether the phone is near that home. The family sees only near or far. No exact pin is shared with the family. There is no continuous location tracking. If location is weak, the cook can mark Present (GPS pending) and the paying adult confirms.

Who sees what

The cook does not see family phone numbers. Each home cannot see another home, even when the cook works in both.

Messages

Alerts are only about the home and the day’s work. We do not send marketing messages.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Settings, then Your account. We wait 45 days. You can cancel any day until then. After that, the login is removed. You can also write to connect@darntech.games. The full steps are on the delete your account page.

The beta

The beta is small, about 10 to 20 homes, by invite. This policy may change. We will tell beta homes when it does.
